Studies also revealed that individuals who consume wine have lower blood pressure and metabolic diseases. Red wine also helps prevent artery damage caused by (bad) high cholesterol.
It’s not a coincidence that drinking wine is a common way to wind down after a stressful day. A study in the journal Neuropharmacology suggests that the resveratrol in red wine could help ease anxiety and depression.
