Alicia Keys To Host Amazon Prime’s ‘Regular Heroes’ Spotlighting Good Deeds of Everyday People

Not every superhero wears a cape.  In this time of crisis, it’s good to know that anyone can make a difference in someone’s life.  That’s exactly what Amazon is doing with their new series, Regular Heroes.

Regular Heroes will be an eight-episode docuseries highlighting the impact of essential workers as well as everyday people who are making a difference during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alicia took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the opportunity to be apart. “This show is Amazzziinngg,” said Keys. “So pure and genuine! I’m happy to know this series will not only give support to, but also put a face on the incredible people like Trevor, Burnell and Hayley. They are the ones we clap for each night at 7 PM in New York. These are the Heroes. And I’m so honored to celebrate them.”

According to Deadline, the series will not only highlight the workers who were filmed in areas such as Seattle, New York, New Orleans, Chicago and Los Angeles, but they will also donate goods and service to support the communities.

The series debuted on Amazon Prime Video May 8th in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.  It will be available globally on May 12th. A new episode will be made available each Friday.  Kudos to the series for shining a light on the ones who give their all.
